Overview

We are looking for individuals who have extensive real estate sales experience, strong leadership skills, competitive spirit, dedication, loyalty, passion for winning, strong work ethic and driven to excellence at the highest levels. This person will be responsible for leading and growing the Real Estate Sales Team and supporting property management business development efforts. This person will be responsible for continually increasing the numbers of buyers and sellers represented by Surf or Sound Realty agents and by referring more homes into the Surf or Sound Property Management Program. Responsibilities include recruiting sales agents, coaching, mentoring, motivating, managing, directing, developing and supporting new and current agents. This person will be a key member of the Business Development Team.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day real estate sales operations as delegated by the VP of Business Development
• Actively seeks and recruits top performing sales agents to join our team
• Participates in the development of short term and long-term sales and business development plans and goals to grow Surf or Sound market share
• Actively works to increase number of sellers and buyers represented by our agents with emphasis on representing homes under our management
• Teaching, mentoring, motivating and directing sales team
• Conduct periodic sales meetings and training sessions for the sales team

Qualifications

Education/Certification:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• North Carolina Real Estate License required; BIC eligible required

Experience:

• 5+ years of real estate sales required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge:

• Highly Organized, confident, assertive, influential
• Strong and proven leadership experience required
• Strong working knowledge of Excel, DocuSign, Paragon
• Valid NC driver’s license

Skill and ability to:

• Operate with a high degree of integrity at all times
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly, both oral and written in English
• Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
• Performs other related duties as required
